Valagro participates in the “Innovations in soil and plant nutrients management” event by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)

Rome, 20th October 2022 – Valagro, a leading company in the production and marketing of biostimulants and specialty nutrients for crops, in the person of its Chief Operating Officer Prem Warrior, is participating in the one-day special event entitled “Innovations in soil and plant nutrients management” that will be held on Thursday, 20 October 2022, at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome, Italy.

The event is part of the FAO Science and Innovation Forum 2022 taking place from 17 to 21 October 2022 in a hybrid mode. The Forum, by means of a rich program of panels, roundtables and interactive events, will focus on the importance of leveraging on science, technology, and innovation to support the transition to an efficient, inclusive, resilient and sustainable agri-food system.

Prem Warrior will intervene as an invited speaker with a presentation entitled “Biostimulants: Opportunities & Challenges in the Global Context”, offering a wide overview on Biostimulants, their role in a sustainability-oriented food production strategy and their market opportunities. Furthermore, particular attention will be dedicated to the science behind the formulation of a biostimulant in Valagro by means of the GeaPower proprietary technology platform, and to the science-based trials demonstrating the concrete effects of such products.
