Discovering the latest perspectives on future ag-tech: Valagro participates in the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit

San Francisco (USA), 22nd March 2022 – Valagro, a leading company in the production and marketing of biostimulants and specialty nutrients for crops, will participate in the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit that will take place in San Francisco on the 22nd and 23rd March 2022.  

The Summit, this year in a hybrid online/live mode, represents a meeting place for the global ag-tech ecosystem, where the major stakeholders worldwide in the agricultural business meet to exchange ideas on the latest technologies, gain critical intelligence on future innovations, and identify potential synergies.

Valagro participates in the event as a Platinum Sponsor and will offer its contribution in two of the main events in the agenda. Our Global Marketing and Development Director Benoit Genot will join the panel discussion entitled “Carbon Programs: Building A Global Accounting System to Reward Farmers for Ecological Services” scheduled for March 22, 11:30 AM PT, where Valagro’s perspective on Biologicals will fit into the overall discussion on how the farmers’ engagement in sustainable farming practices can be favored by means of carbon credits and other reward programs.

Additionally, Valagro, as part of its commitment to the theme of Soil Health, is further promoting discussion among experts by hosting a Breakout Session entitled “Healthy Soils, Healthy Life: What Can Biologicals Do?”, planned on March 22 from 4:30 to 5:10 PM PT. In this session, Benoit Genot will coordinate and facilitate a brainstorming among experts on the matter of Soil Health, who will try answer the question “Is it preferable to work on the resident soil microbial community or to apply external microbial-based solutions?” and explore the future perspectives on microbial soil health solutions.
