The 2022 edition of the Valagro Sustainability Report is now online

Valagro has published the report describing its commitment and concrete actions towards sustainability for the year 2021

Atessa, 27th October 2022 - Valagro, a leading company in the production and marketing of biostimulants and other specialty nutrients for crops, has published the 2022 edition of its Sustainability Report.

The report, available in Italian and English in the Valagro website, offers a sustainability-oriented reading of all activities carried out by Valagro SpA by reporting the social, economic and environmental performances as for 31 December 2021.

In a year in which the effects of the global pandemics and the supply chains disruption have still been relevant, Valagro maintained a constant effort in preserving the health and safety of its collaborators.

Valagro’s environmental performances also denote an effort in limiting the footprint of the Company activities, also considering the significant increase of production registered for the year 2021.

Besides the environmental performances, also social, economic and research aspects are highlighted, that report not only the effort of creating a safe and productive workplace for its people, but also contributing to the promotion of a sustainability-oriented culture among its customers.

Furthermore, the most relevant achievements and improvements for the Valagro plants worldwide are also summarized.

For the sake of transparency and comparability, figures related to single performances are reported using the international standards dictated by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) as a reference.

The Sustainability Report, which Valagro publishes on a voluntary basis, is a precious tool that testifies in an objective way to the company’s commitment to its very Mission - that is to say, to create a sustainable future for people and nature. But, more than that, it is also a way to keep track of what is yet to be done to achieve that goal, and therefore plays an important part in a continuous improvement-oriented mindset.
