Valagro in Toulouse demonstrates how its innovation can contribute to making French agriculture more sustainable and productive in the future

Valagro, a leading company in the production and sale of biostimulants and specialty nutrients, continues promoting its global project Valagro for Future Farming with the event "Innovation Et Profitabilité En Agriculture: Solutions D'aujourd'hui Et Demain" (Innovation and Profitability in Agriculture: Solutions for Today and Tomorrow), which takes place today at the science park Cité de l'espace in Toulouse.
The conference will be held on the eve of the opening of Les Culturales, a key event in the French agricultural sector dedicated to industrial crops. Valagro will participate with its own stand (A 23-33).
With the Valagro for Future Farming project, the company intends to promote and strengthen its commitment to the main target markets in shaping the agriculture of tomorrow through the development and supply of increasingly innovative and sustainable solutions and technologies.
In line with the project's aims, the event in Toulouse, organised in collaboration with media partner Terre-écos is particularly aimed at French distributors and agricultural producers to illustrate how Valagro's innovation can support the growing need for more abundant, profitable and quality agricultural products, whilst increasing greater crop efficiency. This goal is achieved by Valagro using the exclusive GeaPower technology platform from which derive all its solutions for sustainable crop nutrition and currently represents a global standard in the development of biostimulants.
Along with biostimulants and their effectiveness, particular focus will be paid to further studying the tendencies and needs of the French agricultural market, especially in relation to the productivity and sustainability requirements of row crops.
These topics will be addressed by a selection of experts from the key academic and research institutions in France and Europe. Together with the Valagro managers, Benoit Genot, Global Marketing Director, and Claudio Capobianco, Global Sales Director, Professor Patrick Du Jardin, head of the Plant Biology Unit at the University of Liège and an internationally-accredited expert in the field of biostimulants, and Doctor Marie-Noëlle Brisset, Research Director at the ‘Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique’ (INRA) will also take to the stage throughout the event.
Jean-François Ducret, Country Manager Valagro France: "Today’s event allows us to demonstrate what Valagro can and will do to meet the needs of French farmers, equipping them with a wide range of effective solutions to ensure more profitable, higher-quality and increasingly efficiently-harvested crops. This all translates into the possibility of supporting the competitiveness of agricultural production undertaken in France and thus increasing the return on investment for producers. This is particularly true in the field of industrial crops or in viticulture where focusing on exports demands increasing quality and productivity to keep up with the strong competition of a global market. These are the needs that Valagro aims to fully meet, along with a customer focus that is the leading principle of its global operations. This is why the company is providing French customers access to the best solutions in the field of plant nutrition - such as YieldON, the new biostimulant for row crops recently launched on the French market - and highly-specialised technical support to help farmers get the most out of their crops by combining productivity and sustainability".
