Supporting farmers with a valid help for efficient water management: Valagro launches its innovative biostimulant Talete in India

Atessa, 24th March 2022 – Valagro, a leading company in the production and marketing of biostimulants and specialty nutrients for crops, together with its Indian subsidiary Valagro Biosciences, has finally launched its innovative biostimulants Talete in the Indian market.

The first launch took place in Devanahalli, Bangalore, and saw the participation of more than 70 key dealers and farmers, and, in addition, Prof. V. Devappa from University of Agricultural Science, Bagalkot, Karnataka, as an institutional guest. This event is part of a campaign consisting of more than 20 local activities organized in key areas in India in the upcoming months, all aimed at supporting Indian farmers in optimizing the efficiency of water management through the knowledge and use of this innovative biostimulant.

The use of this precious resource is a crucial theme worldwide but is on a totally dramatic scale in India. This nation, in fact, hosts 18% of the world's population but has only 4% of the world's freshwater, 80% of which is used in agriculture.

Talete is the solution created by Valagro to increase Crop Water Productivity, that is to say, to guarantee the increase in production or economic yield for each unit of water used in crop production.
