MEGAFOL® PROTEIN is the latest addition to Valagro's MEGAFOL line. A potent stimulator of proteins, made from a complex of biologically active organic substances and treated with exclusive GEAPOWER (GEA 166) technology. Starting with the selected matrices of vegetable origin, and using specific methods of extraction, Valagro has developed a purified concentrate of active ingredients that stimulates those metabolic processes that naturally increase the biosynthesis and accumulation of proteins.
Specifically, MEGAFOL® PROTEIN increases the protein content by up to 2.5 percentage points in wheat, and by up to 5.8 percentage points in alfalfa.
MEGAFOL® PROTEIN significantly supports the plant's metabolism, enhancing biosynthesis and storage of proteins through:

  • Modulation of hormonal signals and of enzymatic reactions;
  • Stimulating metabolism of nitrogen, amino acids and sugars;
  • Induction of protein storage and protease inhibitors;

The result is a higher concentration of protein in crops of both wheat and alfalfa, which significantly increases the quality and the value of the crop.
