Valagro awards the Best Growers of 2016

The award for best agricultural producers is back. Today, Australian agricultural producer Gazzola Farms receives the award for the Asia-Pacific region

Valagro, a leader in the production and marketing of biostimulants and specialty nutrients, along with their Platinum distributors rewards the latest Best Growers of the Year 2016.
The Best Grower of the Year is an integral part of the exclusive range of services for the best Platinum customers supplied by Valagro@yourservice, the service model adopted by the Group for achieving even broader customer involvement to support their participation in achieving sales goals, and successful and shared marketing strategies.
In particular, with this award, now in its second edition, Valagro gives full recognition to excellence in agricultural production along with its main distributors: with the Best Grower of the Year award, agricultural producers are selected on the basis of measurable and shared parameters in the areas in which Valagro Group operates (Europe, Middle East and Africa - EMEA, Americas and Asia-Pacific). The recipients are rewarded for their ability to add value to Valagro solutions.
In line with this objective, Valagro has officially awarded the prize of Best Grower 2016 in the Asia Pacific region: the winner, Gazzola Farms – an Australian family-owned and operated company established in 1932 – was chosen by Valagro and the exclusive distributor E.E. Muir & Sons Pty Ltd., and given the award for the excellent results it has achieved in several crops, from lettuce to celery, from broccoli to Asian vegetable, using Valagro solutions such as Kendal, Megafol and Viva which are specifically dedicated to sustainable nutrition of these crops.
Giampiero Sera, Valagro Head of Pacific Region: "Gazzola Farms has been a part of the Australian vegetable industry for 3 generations and has been growing at its current locations on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula since 1992. It proudly grows and markets quality products to local, interstate and export markets all year round, doing its utmost to meet specific customer requirements. We are proud to have contributed towards the positive results achieved by Gazzola Farms with our solutions. In line with Valagro's aim, of helping farmers get the most out of their productions in an efficient and sustainable way, this recognition gives us tremendous satisfaction, because it expresses the amount of trust our distributors, and the farmers who choose our solutions, have in Valagro and its innovative solutions".
The award ceremony was held at the E.E. Muir & Sons branch of Five Ways (1985 South Gippsland Highway, Clyde, Victoria State 3978) following a meeting of the Valagro Academy.
