Valagro innovation in the international limelight at the largest fruit and vegetable trade fair in the Mediterranean region and beyond, held in Cesena, Italy from October 6 - 8, 2010.

Only three Italian trade fairs have been selected by the Minister of Agriculture to represent Italy around the world: Vinitaly, Cibus and Macfrut. Macfrut is without a doubt  “the” Italian fruit and vegetable fair with international appeal: a true reference point and excellent marketplace for trade agreements, partnerships, and joint initiatives for not only the Mediterranean Countries but  also for  the up-and-coming markets of China and India. For this reason Valagro, worldwide leader in special fertilizers, has chosen Macfrut as a showcase for its new products.

Macfrut is in fact a strategic appointment for large-scale operators in the industry, with 30,000 square meters of exhibition space available for businesses involved in logistics, packaging, organic products, import-export, and all other subjects and processes bringing fruits and vegetables from the farm to the consumer’s table. As fertilizers play a primary role in agriculture, Valagro will be there with a 64 square meter stand and participate in a good 23 conventions planned throughout the year under the sponsorship of Macfrut.

Macfrut provides an opportunity to bring to the attention of thousands of  international operators – the 2009 edition included 681 exhibitors, 25,000 professional visitors, 7,000 foreign operators coming from 70 countries, 80 official foreign delegations coming from five continents – the amazing new Geapower, an exclusive Valagro system that integrates agronomic know-how, excellent raw materials, and cutting edge technology to create state-of-the-art biostimulants.
