Valagro is taking part in the second pomological and new technical developments exhibition in the heart of the Romagna region.

Bringing together school, training and innovation to give a boost to fruit and vegetable production: this is the central theme of Fruitaly, the second exhibition of innovations in fruit growing that is being held at the Faenza Agricultural College (Persolino), in the heart of one of Italy’s leading areas of food production on July 29 and 30 2010.

The exhibition is born from the awareness that only through new technologies and processes together with tried and tested agronomic know-how will it be possible to respond effectively to the new challenges of the global market and make the sector competitive again. Valagro shares this approach with firm conviction as is testified to by its participation the last time the exhibition was held and, this year, it is back again to bring the latest developments in the field of special and biostimulating fertilisers.

The event, organised by CAV-Centro Attività Vivaistiche, Consorzio Agrario di Ravenna and Idrologica, opens with a welcome from the authorities and a lecture by Prof. Bruno Marangoni from Bologna University. Following this, the leading nurseries associated to CAV  will present new varietal  developments, while the Consorzio Agrario di Ravenna, together with Vrsityalagro and the other producers of agropharmaceuticals will show innovation in technical resources. Idrologica will be responsible for introducing the new developments in the irrigation technology field. 
Fruitaly has actually been structured in the form of an open laboratory where each exhibitor can show and explain its products to the public, picking out a training route that involves students, fruit growers and nurserymen and women. An important opportunity for sharing and growth in an area of Italy which has always dedicated much effort to quality fruit and vegetable growing. An important event that confirms the commitment of Valagro to high-level training projects aimed at ever greater quality among Italian fruit growers.
