Quality, the environment and safety

Quality in Valagro is not just a word, but a daily commitment that involves every single resource and affects every single process.
It bears witness to the desire to guarantee extremely efficient, innovative products that retain all the prefixed quality standards over time.
With this in mind, over the years Valagro has applied a specific certification programme along the route to complete customer satisfaction:

• adhesion to the Fertiliser Quality Control Institute (ICQF – Istituto Controllo Qualità Fertilizzanti), the organisation that annually checks compliance of package contents with the quality requirements set out by Italian law no. 748/84
  
• environmental certification ISO 14001:2004, the international standard that certifies a management system that keeps the environmental impact of its activities under control, systematically searching to improve these in a coherent, efficient and sustainable manner
  
• participation in Responsible Care, a voluntary programme organised by the World Chemical Industry and based on the implementation of principles and conduct for the health and safety of workers and environmental protection
  
• certification of the Quality System ISO 9001:2000, certifying the guidance of all company processes towards improving efficiency and efficacy of the organisation, in addition to customer satisfaction
  
• adhesion to the GLOBALG.A.P. programme, which aims to ensure the integrity, transparency and harmonisation of agricultural standards worldwide
  
• certification OHSAS 18001, the international standard setting the requirements for a management system to protect the health and safety of workers.
